Prices range according to the number of guests, venue location, and soundsystem required. An assistant dj is always booked for the entire duration to help pickup, deliver, and set up the equipment, serve as a sound and lighting technician during the event, function as a back up dj, and to assist in taking down and returning all sound and lighting equipment. For events in Vancouver where we provide all the sound, lighting, and dj gear, packages range from $1000 – $2000. We guarantee a suitable backup dj in the case of any unforseen emergency – we are part of a dj collective with 5-6 excellent dj’s on the roster and one is always on call for the night of your event. We have never missed an event for any reason!
The sound and lighting equipment would be set up at the reception location during the day (long before anyone arrives) and soundchecked. We are on hand to play background music for when your guests arrive. During dinner, speeches, and games, we supply ‘specialty music’ appropriate for these parts and we also are on hand to adjust volume levels according to what is appropriate. Custom ‘edits’ or remixes for entrance songs / theme music can also be prepared for your event. After dinner we start party rocking and get your guests dancing to whichever type of music you and they like. Most wedding and private party venues require the music and party to stop at 1am but we are happy to play later if you like!
